Bush sanctions private airforce
Blackwater's battle plane, equipped with highly expensive «smart» weapons President George W. Bush has given his approval of, and support for, the construction of an air-borne defence under the security company Blackwater. Blackwater has, until recently, with reasons unknown to Conflict, avoided the media. This in spite of the fact that Blackwater's private army was heavily involved in the establishment of law and order in New Orleans and has combating units in both Iraq and Afghanistan. A force of 60 – 100 000 (including support personel) mercenaries is as of today performing services in Iraq. Blackwater is supposed to be the largest contributor. All relations regarding Blackwater's operations are maintained top secret. Norwegian journalists have confirmed the organisation and its activities, but have chosen not to mention it. This is severely sensational due to the fact that Blackwater has been pointed out as responsible for a series of injustices against Iraqi civilians, amongst others in connection with retaliation after two of Blackwater's vehicles were subjected to an ambush in Fallujah with mysterious circumstances.
Blackwater in New Orleans Blackwater in Iraq
Blackwater recruits its personel from military personel and police officers in Israel and USA, but also offers an «alternative career» for people who have been rejected from the services mentioned above.
Blackwater's armored vehicles are already in place in Iraq. They no longer need the USAF in the case that air support is needed
it is more than sensational that George W. Bush now helps Blackwater with approval and operation of own air forces, when this is the first time in history that a privately owned company participates in armed hostilities in this way. In Norwegian newspapers, where Bush criticism is normally abundant, total silence surrounds this material. The war morale among the American forces have reached a new low point simultaneously with the rapid increase of Blackwater's military presence in Iraq. Although the views the troops have on the war are strictly censored, strange incidents are now a relatively open subject. After the destruction of American armored vehicles, one has found remainders of armor-piercing mines and highly advanced detonators. The equipment that is used in these campaigns against the American forces is said not to have been produced neither in Iran, Iraq nor previous Warzava-pact countries. More and more soldiers are reaching the conclusion that someone are supplying these so-called «insurgents» with highly advanced weapons systems – alternatively that the term «insurgent» means something entirely different than what has earlier been assumed. |
