Haider killed by car accident
- "You are experiencing a car accident"

The Austrian opposititional politician Jörg Haider was killed in a car
accident October 11th, 2008. Haider was on his way to celebrate his
mothers birthday.
The car he was driving was an official government car, and according to
official police sources, the fastest crime scene investigation in the
history of Austria indicates that Haiders car was driving at a speed of
31 mph when he lost control of the vehicle and went off the road. The
luxury car veered off the road and was then flung back into the roadway.
Here it left a 150-200 meter long wreckage trail. In the process, the
roof was pushed in and all the doors blasted off. There were supposedly
no witnesses, and Haider was later found in the car with massive head
injuries.
The accident joins a tragic series of crashes beginning in the 50'ies,
where oppositional politicians and activists are killed while driving on
straight patches of road. December 9th, 1945, the day before General
George S. Patton was to return to USA for talks with Henry Ford on the
erection of a third American party, his Cadillac was hit by a truck at
high speed and Patton was killed. Patton was in the back seat along with
his Chief of Staff Major General Hobart R. "Hap" Gay, and the driver was
Private Horace Woodring. Neither Gay nor Woodring were injured.
The accident that most resembles Haiders' is the incident that killed
the extraparliamentary activist and skinhead musician Ian Stuart
Donaldson, as he was on his way home from Burton-on-Trent in september
1993. His car span out of control, here too on a straight patch of road,
and struck the ditch by the side of the freeway with great force. Stuart
Donaldson died in hospital the next morning from massive head injuries.
The accident was not investigated.

B: Mr. Düsentrieb, does it occur often that the doors of your luxury
models are blasted off during accidents at 30 mph? Or lets say that
Haider was far too excited about the celebration of his mother and was
actually going 90 mph?
- Our doors are specifically designed not to open during accidents,
but this unfortunately happens from time to time - though extremely
rare.
B: The fact that one of the doors are lying directly behind the
wreckage must mean that it fell off as the car was decelerating, at very
low speed?
- I wouldn't want to speculate on that. It could have rolled there.
B: Is it normal that front panel airbag covers are launched through
the drivers knees so that is ends up under him on the seat?
- I am not familiar with any such mechanism existing. Are you sure it
was not placed there after the driver was taken out?
B: The pictures are taken previous to crime scene investigation.
- In that case I have no comment.
B: Is there a mechanism to scatter wreckage debris over an area as
wide as possible at accidents? As some sort of signal? Do fenders easily
come off?
- Modern cars have many loose parts. Nor do we have control over what
people keep inside their vehicles, if you're driving around with a spare
parts car in your trunk you have to expect a certain degree of
scattering.
B: How about the roof? Is it common for the roof to cave in as it was
made of clay during accidents? Does the A-beam rip in such, or even high
speed situations?
- Well.. All our cars have reinforced A, B and C beams to keep the
weight of the car from pushing in the roof and killing the passengers,
but sometimes even this occurs, although very rare.
B: Which variables decide whether this happens?
- We are working to figure that out. After the Chrysler-Daimler
fusion we are expecting this type of work to be strongly simplified as
we are gaining access to American data. 22 of Bill Clinton's former
coworkers have been killed in car accidents under similar conditions,
and we are expecting an analysis of these accidents will lead to
isolation of sentral factors.
B: According to a new announcement from the established press in Austria
and Norway, Haiders car was driving at 88 mph when he lost control as he
was passing another car and crashed directly prior to a 30 mph zone.
This is known because his speed gauge needle was stuck at the speed the
car was travelling at the first impact. Do modern speedometers work like
this?
- We note that the speed of Lady Di's Mercedes was established the
same way,
B: From the pictures you have seen, is the claimed speed of 88 mph
correct?
- No. Considering Haider, according to eye witnesses that have
appeared two days after the accident, lost control of the car long
before entering the 30 mph zone, the speed must have been far higher.
The 30 mph zone sign is mowed down by Haiders car and is visible in one
of the pictures. The location of the sign and the location of the wreck
are approximately 220 yards apart. That means Haiders car has rolled
more than 400 yards since the first impact, which in turn means he must
have maintained a speed of more than 310 mph. At those speeds even
engineers fall short.
B: Can you comment on the allegations of blood alcolhol?
- Besides the fact that Lady Di's driver had three times the deadly
blood alcohol level (and therefore was dead at the point of collision -
crashing when the driver is dead is no surprise), I could only make
speculations. It is not uncommon for Austrian mayors to go into a
drunken stupor before racing against unknown vehicles on the way to
their mothers birthday.
B: Are you expecting a decrease in Volkswagen sales as a consequence
of such accidents?
- No, we believe that the average costumer recognizes the difference
in disposing factors between prominent people with political agendas
like Haide and Lady Di, and the average person.
B: Thank you for your time, Mr. Düsentrieb.
- Thank you.
Jörg Haider leaves a wife, small children, a large file with ADL* and a
country still without freedom of speech.

Haider is not the first Germanic politician to lose his life under
tragic and coincidental circumstances. Just a few years ago, FDP
politician and former paratrooper Jürgen Möllemann was killed in a
parachuting accident. Möllemann was, according to his friends, very
precise about packing his chutes, but he was killed instantly when his
chute opened normally, but his harnesses broke off. Neither his spare
chute nor a third automated chute Möllemann jumped with, were able to be
opened. Möllemann was president of the Arabic-German Society and spoke
against the institutionalized shame internalized in the German people at
several occations. His accident was not investigated.
