The new year faced young women living in Oslo with a new situation. During New Year's Eve several brutal rapes took place in the Norwegian capital. The media hardly mentioned the fact that all the rapes were conducted by aliens of African descent. In the two months to follow it became clear that these rapes were just the start of a new trend. In the two last months, Arabs and aliens from Africa has gone on a raping-spree in Oslo. Every women between 12 and 40 seems to be a target for these rapists and the incidents, though mainly in the inner city, has been taking place in the suburbs as well. Even children are targeted. A 14 year old girl was brutally raped by two men of alien origin on the grounds of her school at Oppsal (an Oslo suburb) in January.

Home invasions has also taken place. This is a new phenomenon in Norway. Within hours two women were raped in their own apartments, one after the perpetrators had forced their way in as the woman was entering her flat, the other happened under unclear circumstances. Though common in the US, Norwegian women has not had to face this threat until now, and it is not yet clear what reactions to expect from the female population. Some tendencies can be observed, and even hard-core liberal newspapers print expressions by their female writers about the fear of African men and how this can be justified, even though it feels slightly racist.

The Norwegian police has so far been unable to control the number of incidents which seem to grow on an daily basis. The minister of police, Ingelin Killengreen who is a political appointee and does not posess policing experience or skill, expresses that the women themselves have to take responsibility. Women in Oslo are adviced not to travel alone by foot after sun-down as the police forces can do nothing but stampede along in futile investigations. Futile because the rapists are not one or two, but potentially more than a thousand and as their fellow rapists draw the conclusion that the odds of getting caught are low, and the penalty if caught is a joke, there is no reason not to rape Norwegian women, looked upon as whores by large portions of the alien population (around 300 000). The average time served for an assault-rape in Norway is below 4 years, and as the prisons are crowding up, an average rapist will have to wait more than a year before he is incarcerated, leaving plenty of time to conduct additional rapes.

A reaction from the public, both male and female, cannot be traced at this time. One should think that the inhabitants of the once so safe and quiet Norwegian capital would react in wrath when the ways of the sub-Sahara continent is forced upon them. However, the reactions so far have been limited to chattering around coffee-tables and in parks in daytime. No attempts to reclaim the streets, the nights or the country as a whole has been seen, apart from Fremskrittsspartiet (FrP - "The progressive Party") gaining territory. FrP claims to be anti-immigration, but the number of aliens living in Oslo has increased exponentially since the ultraliberalists in the party got into office in the city. The Norwegian public again comes out as weak, passified and easily fooled.
